"The whole club was lookin'" at Reba McEntire on Super Bowl Sunday – including T-Pain.
The country icon, who performed the national anthem at Super Bowl LVIII Sunday night, shared her game day look with fans on social media ahead of the game. In the photos, McEntire can be seen wearing a plush, gray fur coat with blue jeans and matching cowboy boots.
"Boots with the fur," McEntire wrote on X, referencing Flo Rida and T-Pain’s 2007 hit "Low." "#SuperBowlLVIII ready!”
T-Pain gave his seal of approval to McEntire’s lyrical tribute when he reshared the "Fancy" singer's post on X.
"The whole club lookin at herrrrrrrrr," T-Pain wrote, referencing another lyric from the song.
But the exchange didn't end there. McEntire responded to T-Pain's reply with a gif of herself, in which the singer is seen pointing her finger at someone with a sassy glance.
Released in October 2007, "Low" was released as Flo Rida's debut single, taken from his album "Mail on Sunday." The crunk banger peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks straight and earned the rappers Grammy Award nominations for best rap song and best rap/sung collaboration.
This isn’t the first time T-Pain has received celebrity fan mail online.
In January, rock singer Ozzy Osbourne gushed over T-Pain's rendition of the Black Sabbath song "War Pigs," praising it as the "best cover" of the 1970 song. "Why didn’t you guys call me?" Osbourne wrote on X at the time.
"You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself," T-Pain replied, later writing, "This is an honor and the greatest form of validation."
